Getting Started

Can I wear a bra?
You can wear adhesive cups or a nude strapless bra for shape and support. Many of our gowns have interior boning and or cups – check the details.

Is the dress see-through at all?
Most of our gowns are lined with soft lining – check details to see if the back bodice and sleeves are unlined.

What underwear do I wear?
We recommend wearing seamless underwear in a colour close to your skin tone.

What does the dress feel like to touch?
The Gowns feel soft and luxurious. They been handmade in an exclusive luxuriously soft laces, crepes and satins that molds to your body.  Beading, 3d Applique and Crystals will be more rigid.

Our tulles and shimmering organza’s are as soft as possible, while still giving shape and body to your gown’s silhouette.

How long does it take for my dress to be made?
We recommend ordering your dress as soon as you can, as our lead times vary depending on when you’re getting married. If your wedding is less than 3 months away your Made-to-Order gown will incur a Priority fee.

If your wedding is less than 8 weeks away, let us know, we may have a gown in stock available in standard size ranges.

How is my dress made?
We hand make your dress especially for you in our atelier but we deliver worldwide.

Can I alter the design of my dress?
Every dress undergoes intensive design processes to ensure the fit, feel and balance of each dress is absolutely perfect. Therefore, we do not offer customisations – but you can arrange to have your own design created. Contact us for more information info@froxbox.co.

What if I lose/gain weight?
We go to every effort to ensure your dress is the correct fit. If you place your order far in advance of your wedding date, we can confirm your size range shortly before your gown is due to be made.

The SIZER APP will take your true measurements and so you can choose the corresponding size range for each of your body proportions. We make your gown to a size range rather than your exact measurements to allow for a more effortless fit.

Our dresses are crafted from luxurious stretch fabrics however, if your measurements do decrease thereby placing you in a smaller size range, your gown may need to be altered to your desired fit with a professional seamstress. Conversely, working with luxe stretch fabrics means that our gowns are rarely constructed with a seam allowance; therefore, if your measurements increase, thereby placing you in a higher size range, please note that your gown may not have the capacity to be altered.
